Students are continually requesting access to staff PC's within the JCC for online use, registration and printing. Due to 100% of the CCI coursework being offered at JCC, this is a support service that needs additional consideration. Currently, there are 2 PC's in the CCI Reference Library that serve an estimated 225 students. Also, a printing and scanning solution needs to be implemented.
To have a place on a board in CCI where people can post when they have a book they want to sell. It could be just the name of the book, the name of the person selling the book, how to contact them and maybe the price. It is just a display area. Each person who posts will have to manage their own posting.
Let's face it, not many studenst go to Elevation for foods nor aware of our lovely restaurant. But if they were to offer us any discounts, I would eat during my empty schedule. Good for our brand recognition and more practices for the cooks in the kitchen.
Come on we are a culinary institute. We should not have Doritos, Snickers, and Cheese-its in our vending machine. Vending machines with healthy up to par snacks do exist, and I request we get one.
I would really love it if CCI would have a WIFI accessible picnic area for students to utilize for between classes or after. Providing picnic tables in an outdoor setting would be a great addition to improve student life at our campus giving us a place to refresh, regroup, study, and commune.
will participating in the Christmas parade help build community spirit and esprit de corp within the student body at CCI
Possibly look into devoting a class to the art of pizza making from different crusts, sauces, and toppings. Also we could get a wood fire pizza oven to learn the importance of browning properly without burning, and working in heat under pressure as we might in a future restaurant. Just a fun idea.
Hi! My daughter and I would like to deliver any leftover food from the culinary school to the homeless in town. We were wondering if this would be a possiblity?
Have the presentations be shorter and fast paced as to allow increased opportunity for students, guests, faculty, administrators, etc to interact and enjoy the buffet.
The cravat is uncomfortable, hot and just looks silly. Please get rid of this antiquated and useless piece of our uniform!
An online culinary magazine dedicated to the movers and shakers in the Bend and outlying community. Chefs, organic growers, vintners, innovations in the kitchen, interviews, recipes, kids corner, etc.
I would love to see some options for charging an electric car on the Bend campus. I am considering purchasing a used EV to help make my commute more affordable and this would help a lot
With just a couple more class you could have a restaurant management certificate would you take the classes???
Hairnets in class are a pain, my hair is under my hat why do I need to wear one
